網路上有我這台的照片，不知道這個連結多久有效，但是我不想自己照相。可以坐到 90 公分高，或是 14 公斤重。另外買了 $10 的塑膠透明雨罩，因為也能擋風保持溫暖，所以即使不下雪的時候還是可以用，說明書上說有陽光的時候還要小心過熱，必須收起來。
今天在 Centre d'achat 還發現 The Children's Place 門市。另外 OK KIDS 賣的小孩冬衣好便宜，三十塊四十塊就能有一套冬天的外套加褲子，所以想以後要買衣服到這裡看看。

Umbrella Sroller
用了半年的 Snugli，雖然一直覺得很好用很方便，可是小孩越來越重，今天終於到 Zellers 推了一台 avalon 紅色的傘車回家。訂價 $30，因為當場辦了 HBC 信用卡，所以打八五折，等卡下來，就是每次購物九折。因為只用到九月底，本來就徘徊在不買和買一台很簡單實用的抉擇之間，這個價格蠻符合我的需求的，今天試車的結果也不錯，整個很滿意。

蒙特婁高光節大概是我參加過的節慶中最好玩的，因為他有很多好玩的活動可以免費實際參與，而且涵蓋的層面從遊戲、冬季活動、美食、音樂、到藝術展覽都有。尤其是為期兩個星期的最後一個周六，是所謂的白夜日，所有活動都到半夜三點才結束，許多博物館配合這個活動推出夜間免費探訪到三點的展覽。結果，在這麼一個寒冷的冬天周末，蒙特婁人真的都全家出動，老老少少在外面趴趴走，不畏寒風徹夜排隊。

活動的主要場地集中在 Quartier des Spectacles。我開始覺得這個節慶好玩是因為他的一百ㄧ十公尺長的冰溜滑梯。
場地到處布置了用木頭生火取暖的大鐵桶，以及一個大火爐，很有冬天節慶的氣氛。
第一次去滑的時候，天氣不錯，所以滑梯的冰面也可以維持得很好，非常的滑溜，大概排了四十分鐘的隊伍才輪到我，可是不到二十秒鐘就滑完了，超刺激。接下來幾天內我總共去排了十次，太好玩啦！

已經尖叫太多次了，這次終於可以鎮定下來。
我每天的例行行程就是去排溜滑梯，吃免費的小點心跟飲料，然後去坐摩天輪。
免費的小點心其中一項是冰上楓糖，那個不是天天有，我只有在兩個星期六有看到。他就是把加熱融化的楓糖倒在冰上漸漸凝固，然後用一根木棒捲起來吃。這是魁北克在迎接春天來臨之前，歡慶液態金子楓糖豐收的傳統食物之ㄧ。我真是吃得太開心了，黏得整個頭髮都是楓糖。
還有一個小遊戲是在電腦上寫字，然後即時以絢麗的燈光將字型投影到附近的牆面上，非常受到小朋友...以及我的喜愛，所以我也去排隊了。

白夜那天晚上，我們到中國城吃完晚餐之後，就步行到 Point-à-Callière 考古博物館看展覽，欣賞一片叫做 Yours Truly 的二十分鐘蒙特婁歷史介紹短片。蒙特婁歷史我是知道不少，但是這部短片是在城牆遺址上打光作特效，270度的螢幕，所以還是有值得推薦之處。
我們去 Old Montreal 看冰雕，回來的路上想要去今天晚上十點才開放免費參觀的 Notre-Dame Basilica (Celine Dion 在這裡結婚)，結果隊伍已經排到好幾條馬路外了。接著到我家附近的 Quartier des Spectacles 的當代藝術館 The Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal 免費參觀，除了正在展出的藝術品外，還欣賞到蒙特婁的 beatbox 樂團 QW4RTZ 演唱。他們的聲音真好聽，而且他們這幾個年輕人很搞笑，還表演 Super Mario Brothers。

蒙特婁的地下城也配合白夜活動推出地下街藝術展，有許多藝術家根本是在那天晚上現場製作，讓大家看他們的藝術品產生的過程，而不是像一般美術展，展出時間一開始，展品就已經通通就定位。透過這個活動，現在蒙特婁可以說是走五步就可以見到一個藝術品啊！
今天高光節開始注重網路宣傳，除了製作影片和互動式的網站之外，還有手機程式可以下載，而且個別的小活動都有自己的網頁，甚至還有 FACEBOOK，規格越來越逼近 Jazz Festival。今年活動大成功，明年肯定會吸引更多人潮，日期已經訂好了 February 21 to Sunday, March 3, 2013，非常令人期待！

Thanks to Ben Weider's major gift of his Napoleonic collection, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts inaugurated galleries devoted to Napoleon and to the First Empire on October 23, 2008. Mr. Weider was committed to having this outstanding collection remain in Montreal. It will henceforth be presented at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, where it will enrich the Museum's collection and Canadian heritage as a whole. These galleries feature a collection of a hundred works and objects, some rare and unique, associated with Napoleon and the arts under the First Empire. Other gifts and loans of works related to this period, in particular objects from the collections of the Honourable Serge Joyal, p.c., o.c., Paul G. Desmarais and Power Corporation of Canada, Roger Prigent, and Élaine Bédard and Alexandre de Bothuri Bàthory, are also on display. These galleries will present one of the leading collections devoted to Napoleon in North America.

This exhibition-visit through the neighbourhood will nurture pedestrians’ imagination for three weeks, before and during the festival.
Mainly on Van Horne and Bernard West, but also on Laurier, Mont-Royal and Côte-des-Neiges.

Christopher Plummer
Arthur Christopher Orme Plummer, CC (born December 13, 1929) is a Canadian theatre, film and television actor. He made his film debut in 1957's Stage Struck, and notable early film performances include Night of the Generals, The Return of the Pink Panther, and The Man Who Would Be King.
In a career that spans seven decades and includes substantial roles in each of the dramatic arts, Plummer is probably best known to audiences as the autocratic widower Captain Georg Ludwig von Trapp in the hit 1965 musical movie The Sound of Music opposite Julie Andrews. Plummer has also tackled various television projects, including the legendary miniseries The Thorn Birds.
His most recent film roles include the The Insider as Mike Wallace, the Disney-Pixar 2009 film Up as Charles Muntz, the Shane Acker production 9 as 1, The Last Station as Leo Tolstoy, and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus as Doctor Parnassus.
Plummer has won numerous awards for his work, including an Oscar, two Emmys, two Tonys, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award. With his win at the age of 82 in 2012 for Beginners, Plummer is the oldest actor ever to win an Academy Award.
Early life
Plummer was born in Toronto, Ontario, the son of Isabella Mary (née Abbott) and John Orme Plummer, who was secretary to the Dean of Sciences at McGill University. Through his mother, Plummer is a great-grandson of Canadian Prime Minister Sir John Abbott, and a great-great-grandson of Anglican clergyman and McGill acting president John Bethune. Plummer was an only child. His parents were divorced shortly after he was born, and he was brought up at the Abbott family home in Senneville, Quebec, outside Montreal. He is bilingual. He studied to be a concert pianist, but developed a love for the theatre at an early age, and began acting in high school. Plummer took up acting after seeing Laurence Olivier's film Henry V (1944). He travelled by train to gain experience with the Canadian Repertory Theatre (the CRT) in Ottawa.
